BioI'm 25, British and yes, I do love tea. No seriously, I love the stuff. I have a cup right now. Yum.
Also love musicals. Spent a ridiculous amount of time and money last year seeing Idina Menzel in Wicked in London. Worth every penny. Looking back I wish I'd gone more, especially since now I realise how good we had it. Kerry and Dianne may be good singers, but I am NOT a fan of either of them in Wicked and refuse to pay to watch them both together. Now if CJ or Sarah are on, sure. If they are on together - SPAZ!
But Idina & Helen will always be my Elphaba and Glinda. I love and miss them. As actors and people.
Also becoming a total German Wicked fangirl!! Willemijn and Lucy are hilarious and from what I've seen, VERY talented. Willemijn does the crazy Idina long note in Der Zauberer und Ich and Lucy says "Elphieeeeeeeeeeeeee!!" in Heissgeliebt. These two things alone have made me love them. Not to mention "Neeeiiiin!!" and "Sehr gut Lucy!" Really hope I get to see them perform.
Other musical I love are RENT (Saw Adam & Anthony's first night back. Was one of the best theatre experiences I've ever had!), Hairspray (London Cast Love!), The Wild Party, Spring Awakening, Legally Blonde, I Love You Because, Xanadu, Elisabeth, When Midnight Strikes, Billy Elliot, We Will Rock You, Little Shop of Horrors and loads more really. I'll see anything once. Most likely twice.
Performers I think are fabulous are - Idina Menzel, Helen Dallimore, Lisa Brescia, Willemijn Verkaik, Kristin Chenoweth, Oliver Tompsett, Cassidy Janson, Sarah Earnshaw, Shona White, Sheridan Smith, Anthony Rapp, Adam Pascal, Martin Ball (nicest man on the PLANET) and a few more I've probably forgotten.
There's more to me than musicals but since I'm really on LJ for musical reasons I'll just leave it there.
